Mrs. Mahfodha Al-Zayani Contest for Volunteer Teams Projects
Under the patronage of HE the Minister of Labor and Social Development Mr. Jameel Bin Mohammed Humaidan, Bahrain Voluntary Work Society (BVWS) were fired Competition carrying the leader of voluntary work in Kingdom of Bahrain Mrs. Mahfodha Al-Zayani.
The competition is organized for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is addressed to the volunteer teams to compete among its projects and programs, where the Society has received 15 request for participation has been the formation of a special committee the competition to set standards and principles and conditions.
The competition aims is to achieve a set of objectives:
1- To execute our vision of creating a generation of youth-conscious culture of voluntary work.
2- Caring of volunteer works that is undertaken by the individuals.
3- Motivate and encourage individuals to take care of the voluntary work and contribute in volunteer projects.
4- Creativity in the field of volunteerism in term of ideas and applications.
As was presented the award on behalf of Mrs. Mahfodha Al-Zayani, as she represent a flags of volunteer work and school in social work in order to better three volunteer teams projects, as following prize:
First place at BD 2000 ($ 5300) for Team (Choice)
Second place at BD 1500 ($ 3957) for Team (A_ACADEMY)
Third place at BD 1000 ($ 2650) for Team (Tadbeer)
The aim of the award is to execute our vision of creating a young generation conscious of volunteer work culture, to sponsor volunteer work undertaken by individuals in recognition of their efforts, to motivate and encourage individuals to take care of volunteer work and contribute to the volunteer projects of quality and excellence, and encouraging creativity in the volunteer field in terms of ideas and application.
Sponsored by the Secretary-General of the Association of Bahrain charity d. Kamal Hassan, the Committee of Public and International Relations organized a celebration in social Khuldon Center, on the occasion of Family Day, under the slogan “My family is my happiness.”
The goal of this celebration was to strengthen community partnership between the civil societies, in addition of creating a family atmosphere among the society’s members and their families by organizing entertainment activities.
The Training and Development Committee organized a training course provided by Ms. Hanof Sweileh titled “Renew your Life with diverse paces” The course focused on spreading positive energy, implementation of new ways to renew lifestyle, enhancing the ability to adapt to life variables, correcting misconceptions about facing life and equipting them with new tools to do so, refining the principles of balanced leadership with creative ways and empowering participants with hope.
The Future Volunteer committee organized (The Third Future volunteer Forum), sponsored by its Honorary chairman (Wajeeh Khalid bin Rashid Al Zayani), under the slogan “Leading to the Top” with the participation of a number of youth aged 12 – 16 years old, during the period from 28 to 30 January 2016. The seminar included several programs and activities that grows in the hearts of participants the spirit of citizenship and the culture of volunteerism and creativity, leadership. The forum was overseen by a number of the society’s members qualified to deal with this age group.
